Terimore Bayfront Inn

Ah where to start…we received confirmation for a 2-bedroom non-smoking cabin with a beautiful wooden countertop. What we received was a two bedroom, unclean motel room. The rooms smelled horribly of smoke and mold. The towels and sheets were stained, mouse droppings on the stove, dirty sticky table, creaky beds, lights flickering or not working, and black mildew in the bathroom. It was truly unbelievable, especially for the amount we paid. The one perk is the beach area but we probably would have been more comfortable sleeping on the actual beach itself. If there was another accommodation available within a 2 hour radius we would have left but with young kids, we had to rough it out for the night. Then we woke up to someone leaving their half full beer can outside our door…

Poor security, back door didn’t lock, very thin walls and could hear people in room next door at a conversation level, broken ice machine, coffee pot not cleaned, stained sheets, dirty walls, deteriorated floor, outlet blew while trying to dry my hair so no bathroom lights.

Check in was easy and smooth, however whenever we got into our room the smell of wet dog was overwhelming. We told the owner about the smell and they weren't overly bothered about trying to help which was annoying. We booked an apartment with the hope to use it for prepping some food, however the facilities were extremely poor - no kettle, a coffee machine but no coffee provided only coffee bags which were no use without a kettle, for a couple there was one cup in the cupboard. Very unimpressed and we would not recommend staying here as it was over priced for what you got.

The best part about this hotel is the view and beach access. Wish I could have stayed longer. Will be back.

Poor Internet connection, the place is a dump, it is dirty, the only good thing is that it is right on the beach.

I WOULD AVOID THIS PLACE, EXPENSIVE RIP OFF! The moment we walked into our room we were overwhelmed by the smell of Pine-Sol. Had to have the windows open all night to avoid the overwhelming smell. We quickly realized it was to try and cover the smell of wet dog. The couch was a cheap fold out. When you sat on it, the smell of wet animal and dog hair flew up. The shower curtain had a used washcloth folded up in it. When we laid on the bed, it fell apart. Too late to get service. We were told we would receive a refund; it is now one month later and NOTHING!! Beautiful spot of Coastline. Gross motel!
