Elmham House - Pilgrim Hotel

Very good stay. Very central in the village of Walshingham. A bit expensive though as we shared the bathrooms.

We asked through booking.com whether they could serve us dinner on the day of our arrival but it was not possible.

We have been coming to Walsingham for many years. Elmham house is a lovely place to stay.

Ensuite room would have been preferred

A welcoming place where I felt relaxed .

Very convenient and clean.

My husband is 6'8" tall and he had to kneel on the floor by the sink to see in the mirror to shave. The sink was at the height of my knees!! The staff hid the hash browns on my first morning at breakfast and when I requested one on the 2nd morning I was told that I couldn't have one. I insisted thst I would like one and they very reluctantly uncovered a whole pile of them and I eventually received one. Very strange behaviour!!!! One socket in the room for everything! Very difficult to access. I thought that the amenities were poor for the price paid for the room.
