AVES Hotel&Apartment Arosa

Bequeme Betten, ruhig und zentral, sauber und stilvoll. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Es wäre super wenn noch ein Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer wär.

A very nice hotel in a convenient location with a beautiful lake view. The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped, with a kitchenette and a large balcony. We also appreciated the sauna on the ground floor, which was available from midday.

Breakfast was enjoyable, though the selection stayed the same each day, so it could become a little repetitive if staying longer.

Lage und Sauberkeit

Das Bett war leider nicht wie gewünscht ein Doppelbett, sondern zwei zusammengezogene Betten, dies obwohl ich angefragt hatte. Es wurde aber nie darauf eingegangen.

Das Bett war für mein Befinden zu hart, wie auch der Preis eher höher, aber dies ist für Arosa im Rahmen

Central location, friendly staff, clean modern rooms. Medium/firm mattress beds; and firm/memory foam pillows available on request.

Rooms were too hot and thermostat was very difficult to turn; and there was no bedside table, no desk, no cupboard for clothes, and no hooks anywhere in the entrance or the bathroom to hang up jackets/nightwear/clothes. There was an open hanging rail (i.e. without doors) and an open stack of shelves in the entrance area. I found two small USB lamps on the very bottom shelf that were connected to cables that went into the back of the wall and couldnt be taken out - whats the point of them being placed there?!? Everything is self service in the hotel from checking in/out to even having to make one's own tea/coffee at breakfast. No room service also. There were two small coffee machines which only made one cup at a time, and hence there was always a queue for coffee in the morning. The boot room is a very large but it only had two small benches so only 2-3 people could sit there at any one time. So much wasted space! Very large "spa" area but with only a sauna. No pool or hot tub. Also only an open shared shower area. This was all very surprising and VERY DISAPPOINTING, especially given the the VERY EXPENSIVE room rate. I've stayed in cheaper hotels in ski resorts with better a setup and facilities.
