Na Travessa Suítes

After exploring numerous accommodation options for our 5-day stay in Porto — including several 4 and 5-star hotels — we ultimately chose Na Travessa Suites, guided by its photos and glowing reviews. And we couldn’t have been happier with our decision. The location was ideal, right in the heart of the historic city, with excellent attractive infrastructure and a fresh, delicious breakfast served each morning. But what truly set this place apart was the exceptional hospitality of Mariana and her team. From the moment we booked, Mariana reached out to learn about our interests, offering personalized recommendations for restaurants, sights to see, and even arranging our transfers. Her thoughtful care continued throughout our stay, including a delightful personal surprise that showed she genuinely cares about her guests (suggestions) — not just as clients, but as people. Even after we returned home, she stayed in touch with kind, heartfelt messages. In short: the world would be a much better place if there were more people like Mariana.

Marianna was an amazing and attentive hostess. She allowed us to check in early, leave our bikes on the side of the lobby and even had a gluten free breakfast option for me, even though I forgot to tell her I needed that!

Excellent hotel and host Mariana was brilliant. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and thus was one of the best. Only small (8 rooms) but lovely with brilliant breakfast and excellent location near cathedral. Ask for a rear bedroom for the best views from your balcony.

Nice hotel with excellent staff.

Mariana was amazingly kind. Great breakfast. It is difficult for her because of open drug use taking place across the street from her. They don't bother anybody. We liked the location to everything being so close. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Loved the hotel, it was such a surprise when we walked in. Rooms were so well thought out. In a fabulous location, within walking distance to probably all of the attractions you would want to visit. Breakfast was delicious, and there was plenty of it, with fresh squeezed juice, bread pastries and eggs. Yoghurt if you wanted. The staff were fabulous, helpful, warm and friendly. I felt like I was staying in their home. Also , the views to the cathedral were lovely

Beautiful rooms, extremely clean, very comfortable. Delicious breakfast served in the morning. Owner was very kind, helpful and accommodating. Great value. Convenient location. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The architecture is truly impressive—beautifully designed and full of character, which made the atmosphere very special. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the city center with everything within walking distance. But what really made our experience unforgettable was the warm hospitality of Mariana and the team. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place!

The location was very centrally located and very comfortable and quiet. We were provided an excellent and filling breakfast each morning in the cozy breakfast room. The best part of our stay was Mariana (owner) and Joana. They were both so warm & friendly. Upon arrival Joana gave us a city map with many suggestions of things to do. We did all of them and had a great first visit to Porto.
