Bay House Motel

We loved the welcome from the staff member that greeted us. The room was cosy and very clean. The bed was really comfortable.

It was very central to where our family function was held. I called ahead and it was no hassle to pick up our room key early. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Bed were do comfortable. A yummy cafe attached to the motel.

This property is a real gem. It’s tucked away, so is really quiet. The room we had was lovely. It had a real beach vibe. Very fresh and clean. The beds were super comfortable. They are high (which I like). Plenty of pillows and lovely duvets. A nice lot of bench space and a small dining table and chairs. The bathroom was a decent size and the shower was great. Plenty of water pressure and nice and hot. Parking was right outside the room. We had a ground floor room. Parking isn’t allocated, but there is plenty available. The staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. There’s a cafe at the front of the motel (not formally part of the motel) and a short drive/walk to a fish & chip shop and the bowls club for meals. Highly recommend this property. We are currently road tripping (3 months on the road) so staying at a lot of places. I’d rate this in our top 5.

Lovely homely renovated 70s motel. Well maintained. Nice Reno aged pool area. Adjacent cafe for breakfast was great as well.

Beautifully appointed and very clean rooms. Comfy beds and great shower. Cafe adjoining the motel has fabulous food. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Beach across the road is just a short walk away.

Found it a little tricky to manoeuvre a large SUV in and out of the car space. Could only get one bar on my phone reception
