Bungalows Sanlaz

This place was wonderful. The whole atmosphere is warm, inviting, casual, comfortable. There’s always music playing in the common area, we’ll light at night that made it very welcoming. The hosts were always around and available for any questions. They were very accommodating for 2 female travelers and had Uber type drivers that were all female in case that made us more comfortable as female travelers. I cannot say enough good things about our stay!

Everything was perfect!

This is a lovely place, the grounds are beautiful with nice gardens and fantastic views. It is in residential neighborhood, just 5 minutes away from downtown Atenas. Unfortunately my schedule allowed me to stay only one night. This is one of those places where I don't feel there urge to go out, I could have stayed on the terrace with the bungalow or at the pool and read a book all day. The owners were super friendly and helpful with information on Costa Rica and the area. Next time I need to be in San Jose, I will try to add a few days here as well.

Its a little paradise on earth, everywhere you have a stunning view to nature and animals. However the best part was the owners Lazara and Alessandro, they are beyond kind and interesting. They took care of me while I was sick and Alessandro cooked me the most delicious soup. I ended up staying two night and loved it very minute. Thank you beautiful people❤️

Everything at this property is outstanding from the beautiful bungalows, spectacular views, gardens and the sweet, friendly owners! A top favorite for us in Costa Rica!

We arrived late but our hosts waited for us and made up the barbecue for us to cook our dinner. The bungalow is set in an idyllic location in the hills near Atenas.
