House of Favor

Good neighborhood, Great location. Three rear bedrooms. Good kitchen. A great value. It was a short stay for us but it would accommodate a longer stay very well

The master bedroom was not ready and whilst my wife was alone in the house checking the property over a man appeared in the house telling her in broken English that we could not stay in the property. This scared her and she could not get him to leave so had to call me to help in a panic. It took a couple of calls to the owner to work out who he was and to be assured we could in fact stay there. As we had nowhere else to stay we continued with our stay but were scared about whether someone would enter the property whilst we slept in the other rooms. Older ranch house, with updated baths. Kitchen was cramped and older, no dishwasher. Master bed was comfortable.

The home is small cute and comfortable on a quiet street. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The location is central to lots of food and activity options. Nothing was more than 10 minutes away.

Wouldn’t have minded shaded parking but parking was free and on property drive way. Felt safe and comfortable.

House of Favor was the perfect one night rest stop on our move from LA to Portland. Hosts were kind and accommodating. Check in and check out were simple. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. furniture and beds were comfy. Great night's sleep. If you're staying in Redding, this is the place.

Very nice little house. Perfect for what we needed.

We loved our stay at House of Favor! We were in Redding to attend Bethel Music Worship School and the house was a short drive from the church. From the moment we stepped in, we felt comfortable and relaxed. The house was beautifully clean and had everything we needed. We stayed as a family of five and it was perfect as there was plenty of space for the three children and they also shared the family bathroom while we used the en-suite. We stayed during a heatwave and the air conditioning was essential and much appreciated. David and Esther who live behind the house and maintain the property were wonderful in every way and made our stay so pleasant. They are lovely, kind and welcoming people and made us feel so at home. Everything worked well in the house, the kitchen was well equipped and the washing machine was very useful too. The kids loved the tv! The beds were super comfy, I literally felt like I was sleeping on a cloud!! We liked the decking area outside with table and chairs and often ate breakfast out there. There are mature trees in the area surrounding the house which I loved seeing and even saw a bird of prey a few times (maybe an eagle?) high in the sky. There is a big parking space for us to use to the left of the house (as arriving) which was convenient and the road and neighbourhood is quiet and felt very safe. I would definitely try to stay again at House of Favor should we have the opportunity to visit Redding/Bethel again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
