WOM Beach Pod Hotel

If you are on a budget in Tel-Aviv, but want to enjoy being near their beach, this place is for you. The only thing to keep in mind is that the “pods” (not rooms) are tiny. If you have a few luggage pieces you may have a hard time turning around there or open the door. The bathroom is not in the same space, and is separated from your pod (it is only yours though and has shampoo, conditioner and shower gel). The place is clean though and for how tiny those pods are the beds are comfortable. There is an area for tea/coffee, so you have a place to go to if you start feeling claustrophobic.

Great concept, friendly staff, clean place.

First of all, the check in instruction is not clear. I went to a different section and waited there for 25min until a staff came and helped me. The concept of this “hotel” is capsule. The head room above bed is blocked to create that capsule feeling, which makes the room so confined and uncomfortable. My room was highly humid, even with AC on, which might be related to the super small space. The room and hallway made me feel like staying in jail cell. Also didn’t like the concept of using smart phone to open the room and bathroom doors, high tech but inconvenient. Parking nearby was a pain. The pro is that it is across street from a public beach. Overall, I don’t like the capsule (or jail cell) concept, but understand that it may be okay for other budget travelers.

The WOM beach is a really good quality/price deal! super new and clean, the pod system/small rooms is convenient for a short stay, nice location and above all amazing staff! Would definitely recommend.
