Modern Studio with Pool, Parking and King Bed in Historic Cape Town City Centre

The location of this apartment is amazing. Right underneath you, there is a small shop with coffee, food, water, etc… and you’re right at the promenade

After sleeping barely 2 hours of sleeping we were surrounded by cockroaches I contacted the property and Airbnb in the morning, the property insisted that it was the first time it happened to them and that at most what they were going to do was to send someone from maintainance to look, the fact that there were more than 11 cockroaches meant that NO ONE had been there to clean in months: lack of cleanliness and laziness on the part of the owner. Airbnb managed to help us cancel the booking and booked us in a different location and apartment, but we had hoped for a refund for the 1 night waisted in that Airbnb.

There were some bugs in the apartment even though I arrived after the staff finished cleaning and did not open any windows. Secondly, there were no lace curtain to allow me to open the block out curtains while having some privacy from the other building, had to constantly close the curtains fully. Lastly the bin had no lid which I thing might have been the cause of the bugs if it wasn’t properly cleaned.

Location perfect.

Had maintenance issues which I reported after checking in. A guy only came late the next afternoon. Took forever to get a response from Propr after reporting my issues. Had no bath plug when I checked in. Reported it but only got one the next day late afternoon. Sliding door could not open either.

There was no warm water and we reported it but still it was not fixed for the whole duration of our stay . They did send maintenance guy after numerous requests .he came and he left the trap door opened he promised to come back but he did not . when we arrived the was also no iron we only received it the next day . The bath tub stopper was also not fitting properly

The apartment is so clean and beautiful. What you see on the pictures is what you get🙂.

The hot water is not really hot.
