Airport Beach Hotel

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I travel a lot and thought this might help someone. This was a quick business trip, and I just needed a clean bed to rest for a few hours—nothing fancy. The place is basically a motel, but it was clean. The room had a microwave, coffee machine, and mini fridge. However, there was no coffee provided, and when I asked the guy at the front office, he didn’t have any and didn’t know how to use the coffee machine either. Staff didn’t wear uniforms, so it was hard to tell who actually worked there. That said, the essentials were there, and the room was decent. The location is right across the street from the beach, which is great—but also noisy. It seems like locals hang out there at night, partying and blasting music. I was very tired, so I managed to sleep, but it could be a problem for light sleepers. Bottom line: if you’re not looking to spend $600+ a night on an all-inclusive resort and just need a clean, simple place to crash for a short business stay in Montego Bay, this place does the job.

First day we arrived, we were told to wait in the office for 1.5 hours while she finished cleaning the room. When the next guests arrived, they had to stand with their luggage outside of their rooms - I think they’re smart and I think they left this place. Always a nasty party on the back side of the hotel. Loud until 3am. The maid, Rona, showed us her tip from someone else insinuating for us to tip her. She never cleaned the sheets. We had to ask for the comforter for the first day and a half and we asked multiple times and all we got was a “it’s coming” and we had asked for towels, she never cleaned the room, and never cleaned the sheets for the entire week. Other Jamaicans on this side of town just aggressively harass you to get money. I will never be back. Americans, beware.

Lovely little property. Though rooms could do with more electrical sockets and furniture /decor upgrade. Rattling door which needs fixing. A bedside table lamp would be nice instead of getting out of bed to switch light off. However, Great staff. Cleanliness good. Food served on site excellent. Loved the local beach front used by the locals too - loved this. Would return and recommend to those who could cope with a 2.5 / 3 star hotel which is clean, friendly and homely. Not a 4 or 5 star. I can cope but I know some of my friends/family could not. Nice stay with little issues only as mentioned above.

Nice option for overnight stay before catching flight if you are on a budget. Beach was a bonus. pleasantly surprised.

Receptionist and Staff at the Airport Beach Hotel were very professional and friendly. It made my stay even better. I only stayed for one night. Being that it was very close to the airport for my departure. Thank you so much for making my last night in Jamaica memorable. I will definitely book again

The properry was OK. The staff was excellent. Transportation was limited, but we were able to make do with what was available.
