Apt. Luxury Britannia

The room was very nice. The bed was uncomfortable. If you are from the US bring your own wash cloths.

Collecting the key and finding the apartment was difficult Television didn't work properly, it had poor reception Car park was a problem because they did not let us park in the secure parking next door Apartment was very clean and comfortable but needed some ammenities such as towel rail and toilet paper holders

Room was never cleaned during the 3 night stay. Check in is down the street ( no parking anywhere near) Misinformation regarding the pool usage. The shower was extremely small.

My boy friend and I booked this apartment as most of the hotels were full. The room is clean and big. But what makes us a bad time was (1) the concierge staff was always away from his office. (2) unclear information - while we checked out we were told by the hotel we need to bay Euro 80 for the cleaning fee, but during our stay there is NO ONE help with cleaning and the staff didn't mention when we were checking in. (3) the apartment is separated from the hotel next door (but under same group i think as the name is the same), but staff between apartment and hotel were not even communicating to each other and it made us so confused. Location wise was ok, half hour to Como city and near the pier.

My apartment was very nice. I had a 2bd and 2ba apartment. The place also had a loft area which I did not know about. Only rooms on on top floor have a loft area. My room was 711 on the 3rd floor . The room for 711 has water views from living room and master bedroom which has it's own master bathroom. The second bedroom had 2 twin size beds in it with the bathroom next door to it. What I love about this place is if you want some privacy you can close the door that is between both bedrooms. We had the extra loft space w pull out couch . The kids were able to play and sleep up there if they wanted to. The place has electric stove top with a dishwasher and a refrigerator. There is a small little grocery around the corner to buy food and other things. Cons: The check in was confusing you have to go to this office called Como Vita first to get key and situated. Once done you walk down the road to place. If you have issues when office is closed you are going into hotel Grand Britannia. I paid when we first arrived at hotel but desk staff kept stating they could not give me a receipt.We left early in morning so we left keys with hotel. My sister had requested for a three bedroom 2 bathroom lake view apartment which in all actuality was a 2 bedroom w a loft area that had a pull out couch. This apartment was on 3rd floor room 712. I am not sure if there are any true 3 bedroom apartments. Also make sure you bring your own washcloths. The ones provided are not really washcloths

Nice hotel and good location. Swimming pool available and in sunny days that is great. I loved it.

Very basic and self catering style. No linens besides basic and seemed like they were missing furniture. The space is quite large, so a family would fit comfortably if you travel with your comfort amenities. Great location to be across from Bellagio. Cleaning fee made it not worthwhile for a couple for 1 night. Check in staff were great

Great room, nice view, large bedrooms and clean bathrooms. Too bad there is no balcony. Very close to the pool and the water's edge. Make sure you ask for multiple keys. Also ask for more beach towels. Hotel staff was not well informed and too busy upon arrival. Once we were passed checkin, everything was great!

I'll start with the positive. The location was great. Right near the lake and restaurants. The apartment was spacious for a family. The check in experience was challenging. We arrived after hours which are only 2-5pm. We let them know and we were told I get the keys from the hotel next door. When we arrived it was difficult to find anyone at the hotel and everyone we found pointed us to someone else. When we received the keys it was impossible to find the unit. There are no signs or outdoor lights outside of the main walkway. We had the use the flashlight on our phone. After trying different doors with the keys we went back to the hotel I ask for help. The person came over and also could not find the unit. After a few times back and forth from the hotel to the apartment overturn course of about an hour we finally gained entry to our apartment. The space was nice, but we were disappointed that we did not have the lake view that we paid for. It seems our room was changed a the last minute. After finally settling in and getting some sleep we were awakened by water gushing from the light in hallway. Yes, water coming from the light fixture. We immediately ran around to be sure we hasn't left a tap on somewhere and we hadn't. We put a bucket under the leak and called the number we had. The person apologized and said she would call a guy immediately. No one ever came. Ever. Eventually the leak stopped, but of course returned the following morning. Not fun!!

The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view of Lake Como. A choice of two pools/sun bathing areas both beside the lake. We walked to Trezmezzina (20 minutes) every evening for a meal as there wasn't a great choice of restaurants close to the apartment. Como boats stop a 5 minute walk from the apartments. Check in was ok. There was no information provided as to where to go and the apartments were not signed. I tried the Hotel Britannia who directed me to a small office 'Como Vita'. Luckily this was open but most of the time it was closed and I met several other guests who had difficulty checking in. I was asked to check out at the Britannia Hotel where they attempted to charge me again for my holiday. I thought the 80 euro cleaning fee was excessive for an aprtment which I left clean and tidy..
