Lanai at the Cove

I just LOVE this place. This is my third stay and I know there will be more. This is my Happy Place. The view is stunning and it's in a quiet part of town. I couldn't be happier, the people are friendly, I can bring my dog. Truly you don't need to go anywhere...just sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and watching the waves...and the surfers...who could ask for more.

The absolute best location for the most relaxing time. Having the ocean near is as calming as it gets! The service could not have been better. The rooms had everything we needed and very clean on top of that.

Comfortable bed. The view was excellent. Easy to access on the ground floor.

My husband is one of those surfers from the early days of that sport in Oregon, and when we are in Seaside he likes to sit in the car and watch the current generation of surfers ride in the Cove. As a surprise anniversary gift, I chose the Lanai at the Cove for a few restful days stay, so he could enjoy the view "up close and personal"...the rooms look out right over the "side view" of the waves coming onto Seaside beach. Our room had the most perfect view ever! Lanai is not a new or upscale motel, if that is what you are looking for, but is nicely maintained, sparkling clean and comfortable, with a very kind and friendly staff. It had everything we wanted, including a small but complete kitchen area, so we could prepare meals. We consider it a treasure of a find and will definitely be going there again.
