The room we were giving is not the same as that shown on the site: we were given a smaller room without living room upon arrival. We complained about the ac shutting off, dogs barking since 5 am and guests upstairs moving furniture around since 5 am. The hotels response was to offer smaller rooms without ac directly on First floor below barking dog of other guest. We were charged for three nights full price for a superior room and were not offered a similar room but inferior ones for the same charge. Terrible service and they lied to Booking about the options presented. Because of health conditions we couldn’t not stay in a room with humidity and it doesn’t not seem fair and should not be legal that due to lack of proper guidelines to other guests we had to accept an inferior small room with no view for the same price of a superior room with view.

The location is outstanding and the breakfast is very good. Victor made our stay extra special.

This is quite simply a gem of a small hotel. We appreciated the quiet, adults only, beautiful, and calm atmosphere within the property. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the water pressure great… Three of the most important qualities of a hotel room! Combined with an unbeatable location, it was a wonderful place to stay in San Miguel.

The breakfast exceeded our expectations; it was delicious with many options to choose from and eggs cooked to order.

There should be flashlights in every room. The power went out for a few hours and there were no flashlights in the room. The staff was helpful when we requested a flashlight and found one for our room and our friends' room.

The hotel team were super friendly and helpful and the location was great. Walking distance to the centre and loads of great restaurants. The hotel building itself is stunning. They've taken a lot of time and effort with the design of the space and the rooms all have their own unique charm.

I would have liked to have seen a menu for the breakfast as we weren't really sure what was available. The breakfast team were really friendly and what we did have was great though.

Very expensive for what was offered. Very nice hotel but no bar/restsurant/lounge. No gym. Breakfast was very limited but ok. The second night (Saturday night) fireworks that sounded like shots fired were going on at 4am for at least an hour. It was a celebration but we were never warned and it scared the hell out of us! That’s the least they could have done was to warm us.

fireworks going off at 3:00 in the morning for hours. Very loud. Glad I don;t have PTSD, or I would have flipped out! If I spoke spanish I would have tried to call the police.
