"It is definitely worth it and offers very good value for the price."

We stayed for four nights with one couple and four friends. The apartment has a beautiful view from the terraces and was okay for six adults. The living room and dining table were spacious enough for everyone to be comfortable. Customer service was excellent. The property is managed by Hotel Allalin, and they responded within minutes every time. It felt like staying in an Airbnb but with hotel-level concierge service. The location is great for skiing/snowboarding. There is direct access to the E Leeboden T-bar, which we used every day to return home. From there, it’s just a short walk to the slope, where you can ski or snowboard down to reach other gondolas. There is also a nice restaurant right above the apartment called Schäferstube. There are some games available, such as Rummikub and puzzles, but the puzzle was missing three pieces. It was fun to figure out what are missing, lol. If you plan to stay for a longer period, it’s a good idea to bring additional games for evening. We brought cards and other games, which worked well. All the facilities were clean and well organized. The sauna and whirlpool were nice to use and easy to operate. We were really happy to stay at such a nice place for a price that’s hard to find in Saas Fee!

Getting to the apartment on the first day was brutally hectic. Google Maps said it would take about 15 minutes, but around 40% of the route is uphill and snowy. Carrying skis, snowboards, and suitcases made it very challenging. For short stays, I recommend using a backpack instead of a suitcase, or simply taking a taxi from the bus terminal to the apartment. Through customer service (Hotel Allalin), we paid 25 CHF one way for the taxi when we went back home. Friends who used the beds in the smaller room as single beds mentioned that they were not very comfortable. That room might be a bit small for adults. The queen bed in the master bedroom also made some noise when moving. The apartment is also a bit outside the city center, so aside from skiing and snowboarding, we usually went shopping or went out only once a day. The bathroom near the living room was quite small for four adults. We managed in the mornings because one friend did not go snowboarding, but it would be very busy for four adults. It is also not well soundproofed. ^^; We had to buy extra toilet paper during our stay, as the provided supply was not enough for six people. The ski room was a bit confusing at first. There are lockers for each apartment, but it wasn’t clear which one belonged to Cornelia 3. We eventually figured it out by the family names, but it would be better if the lockers were labeled with the apartment name or number. Also, the ski locker didn’t fit all our skis and snowboards properly. In the end, we just left some of them in the room. It’s locked with the house key, which means we shared it with other guests or family, but it’s not 100% secure.
