La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Valdosta

We used this hotel as a quick stay on our way north. As far as location is concerned it is RIGHT off the highway which is both a blessing and a curse. It’s easy to find. Check in was a breeze. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable-ish. Everything was neat and clean with the small exception being several brown stains on the couch. It looked like spilled coffee, but still. The one notable drawback to our room was that we were directly next to the highway. I knew I was the only one in our party this would bother and took another reviewers suggestion to bring earplugs seriously. Without earplugs it sounds as though traffic is running through your room. With them, it sounds like it’s just outside. They really are a must if you’re at all noise sensitive. Otherwise, breakfast was decent and check out was similarly easy. For the price, it was a good value.

Very clean. The breakfast was very good. We don't always partake of the free hot breakfast when we travel. This one very good. Dining area being constantly monitored and counters and tables wiped.

Comfy beds, fluffy towels, clean facility. Quiet location. Friendly staff.

I was moved to 2 different rooms with a/c problems and given a measly $20 off my 3 nights despite moving at 3:20am the first night. Thought the “credit” was a bit insulting considering we had to move a second time despite maintenance fiddling with thermostat.

Breakfast was nice, would liked to have more hot options than just sausage and scrambled eggs

Didn't like that room service did not bring towels, had to ask at the front desk.

I did not eat the breakfast but family members enjoyed it. It was hot and fresh.

The hotel is new and all the rooms are very clean! The staff is amazing, and the breakfast in the morning is really good. There is a large parking lot. On the day we stayed at the hotel, they even had a beer and wine tasting :)
