La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Valdosta

The overall feel was very welcoming and clean and will run. Tori, at the front desk was fantastic about switching my room to a room that was very far away from the barking dogs that were across the hallway. As a result, my stay was very quiet and peaceful.

Barking dogs in the rooms across the hall should not be permitted as no one wants to listen to that in a hotel.

Clean comfortable room. Friendly staff.

They did not have my booking.com reservation on file so they ended up charging me $50 per room more than my booking.com reservation price.

Close to the highway

My puppy found a pill underneath the bathroom counter. I was able to get it away from her immediately. The assistant manager was very responsive and took all of my information. He said he would email the incident report to me and that the manager would call me when she came in. Neither of those things happened. Thankfully my puppy was fine. I chose the location because of the positive reviews re: cleanliness. I would never stay there again, and will likely never stay in any La Quinta location.

Room by me had pets , that barked or whined all night

The room did look new and was spacious for a family of 5

Nowhere on the booking did it say that it was a pet friendly hotel! There was pet hair all over the first room we were put in and the sofa bed was not cleaned. The sofa bed had dirty sheets still on it. The second room was cleaner but still had let hair and we got locked out because the staff put us in the room for one night when we paid for two.
