Marlo Hideaway

Staff were terrific and a delight to deal with. Location was OK but , for us oldies, a bit far to walk to the pub for dinner at night....so we drove there. Nice big fridge and a loaf of fresh bread for breakfast was there on arrival. The place was spotlessly clean with good cooking facilities. Parking and general layout of the property attractive.

We had booked a "Deluxe Family Room" which was supposed to be 1 Single, 1 Bunk and 1 Large Double bed because we sleep in separate beds. Instead the room was 1 Large Double in the main room and a 2-bed Bunk (1 up and 1 down) in a separate room. The room was freezing because I suspect the cabin was not insulated properly - even with the reverse cycle unit going. Liberal use of floor rugs would have helped.

Walking through the kids room to access the bathroom. However there's a spare bathroom at the end of the block of units.

Jeff and Bec’s warm hospitality and attention to detail really elevated our experience. Jeff’s warm welcome, the fresh sourdough bread upon arrival and pancakes on a Sunday morning made this stay memorable.

Nothing to dislike

Tiny house was perfection. The serenity! 💚 so clean and comfy. Added delights of sourdough, coffee, butter, spreads and milk. Will definitely stay again as we didn’t want to leave. Hosts are so lovely and welcoming.
