Surroundings were beautiful. Great fresh coffee during breakfast.

We chose this accommodation despite other similar or even cheaper options in the area, mainly because of the very positive reviews, but we ended up disappointed. The “double room” is actually part of a two-bedroom apartment that is rented as two separate rooms, which makes little sense. The air conditioning/heating controls are in the shared hallway, so you have to agree on the temperature with the guests next door. The walls are thin and the connecting doors are just sliding doors, so we could hear everything from the other room. There was almost no storage space in the room – no shelves and only five hangers – making it impossible to unpack properly. During our stay the night temperatures dropped below 10°C, but were told heating was not available before November 1st. The room was very cold and only a sheet was provided instead of a proper duvet, though to be fair, they resolved this very quickly by bringing a portable heater. Apart from the pool, which is useless in cold weather, although the area is beautiful, there is not much to do on-site, so we only came back to sleep, which was not very convenient given the remote location. Breakfast was fine, but with the same limited selection all three days, probably due to the low number of guests. The best part was the freshly made coffee. Upon checkout we were charged for the bottled water from the fridge – it wasn’t expensive, but it was never mentioned that it came at an extra cost, which left a bad impression. Maybe the place has a different atmosphere during the summer, but for colder months I would choose something else, and I definitely do not recommend booking the standard double room.

Abbiamo trascorso solo una notte a Borgo Elissa, ma è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole. Il borgo è immerso nel verde, in una posizione tranquilla che invita subito al relax. La struttura è davvero bella e ben tenuta: si vede l’attenzione per i particolari, sia negli spazi comuni che nelle camere. Il nostro alloggio era pulitissimo, arredato con gusto e dotato di tutto il necessario. Il personale ci ha accolti con cortesia e discrezione, facendoci sentire subito a nostro agio. La colazione è stata una vera coccola: prodotti genuini, dolci fatti in casa e una bella selezione di opzioni anche per chi ha esigenze particolari. Anche se siamo rimasti solo una notte, ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Un luogo che consigliamo a chi cerca pace, autenticità e un tocco di charme.

Oh please more hooks and places to put clothes. Belongings piled on the floor is not satisfactory. I.e. a swimming pool but nowhere to hang wet bathing suits.

Very nice location. The rooms were nice. Comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and helpful.

In two of the showers there was a drainage issue. We reported this and it was fixed but it was still annoying. The kitchen was equipped but not very generously. There was tea but no coffee. There is a coffee machine but no capsules. There is a dish washer but we didn't find any liquid or tablets...

Mancanza di zanzariera nella finestra e armadio a vista senza ripiani.

Toller Blick bis nach San Gimignano, Weinberge, Olivenhaine. Das Frühstück wird sehr liebevoll gestaltet und die Unterkunft war super sauber, modern und komfortabel.

Schöne angelegt und sehr ruhig. Die Betten waren für uns optimal.

Es gibt dort jede Menge Stechmücken und keine Fliegengitter am Fenster. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern, dadurch leidet allerdings das praktische etwas. Die Sauberkeit war oberflächlich gut, man darf halt nicht in die Ecken schauen.

Prachtige, rustige plek, heerlijke bedden, super netjes, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Helemaal fijn.

Abbiamo adorato ogni momento del nostro soggiorno! La struttura è immersa nella tranquillità delle colline del Chianti, ma allo stesso tempo in una posizione strategica per visitare alcune delle meraviglie della Toscana: Firenze, Siena e San Gimignano e tanti altri borghi stupendi L’ambiente è curato, accogliente e autentico. Le camere sono spaziose, pulitissime e arredate con gusto, nel rispetto dello stile toscano. La colazione è stata un vero piacere: ogni mattina prodotti freschi, locali e di qualità. Un ringraziamento speciale allo staff , sempre disponibili e pronti a consigliare luoghi da visitare, ristoranti tipici e cantine nei dintorni. Una vera oasi di pace, perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una giornata in giro per borghi e città d’arte. Ci torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo senza esitazioni!
