5m xl bell tent with log burner near Whitby

Quiet site, facilities of a high standard. Extras included which meant we didn't have to bring much of our own equipment. Comfy beds.

Bathroom block wasn't cleaned on the second night that we were there - we were the only campers on the site which I think is the reason for this. This did mean that toilet roll and soap ran out for some of the sinks and toilet cubicles. Fridges don't seem to be checked and emptied while we were there so there was food past it's expiry date hanging around. Provision of some citronella or advice to bring your own would have been a bonus - daddy long legs were out in force.

This is an amazing campsite. Staff are friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for us.

What a lovely place, we hired a beautiful Bell tent for 2 nights. It was set up with all the essentials on our arrival. The plot had plenty of space around to set up bbq room and room for kids to play. The site, washrooms and kitchen were like new, very well maintained regularly cleaned. I have a pet allergy so the no pets policy was a great bonus here for me too. We had a great time and will book again. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing location if you want to get away from it all, fantastic facilities, everything you need for a chill out time. We hired the fire pit bbq which was well worth it. Inside the tent was cosy & clean with the log burner a lovely touch. We couldn't ask for more, the hosts were welcoming, informative & helpful. Location not far away from beautiful Saltburn on sea & runswick Bay

It was very very clean, and literally had everything you could need. The tent was also surprisingly warm and much more spacious than expected. The owner seemed lovely and helpful, it was easy to find and had ample parking. There’s a couple of pubs and a little convenience shop/petrol station within walking distance.

With the great British weather, I think some kind of pathway/matting or similar to the washroom hut would be helpful. It was torrential rain on the day we left and I didn’t shower that morning because I didn’t want to trudge back through a boggy field afterwards. We also had a small leak in our tent around the wood burner flue (the owner had warned us that may happen so we were prepared), however given the volume of rain this resulted in a small puddle on our floor which my husband discovered when getting out of bed!
