Exotic View Cottage

everything was perfect and good🥰 the staff super helpful and kind🙏🏻

The cottage are ok and the manager on site was kind and supportive, BUT we had a very bad smell coming from the bathroom drain, really unacceptable. We ask many time to fix the problem without success. In the end we cannot use the bathroom for two consecutive days!

We ask for a compensation / refund due to this relevant problem we had with the bathroom but we did not received any answer from the owner, even not any excuse. I believe this is part of the basics if you want to host people and this behaviour is really not honest and unrespectful of the customer. We will never come back and never never recommend this host.

The bed was big and comfy. The location is not on the main road so it is a bit quieter, though you can still hear the louder scooters, the honks, and the music from beach parties. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and even mini markets.

The water has a distinctive smell and taste. It did not seem clean, though thankfully we didn't get Bali belly after using it (not for drinking obviously). There was enough warm water for one person to take a short shower only. The location is far away from all the things you probably want to see on Nusa Penida, so you need to prepare for a lot of driving.

The owner of the hotel was amazing, he supported me to organize all the tours and to have a driver to go around the island. The position of the accommodation is very good and my cottage was big considering that I was by myself.
