California Inn

While the staff and the room are good, they need to hire a better cleaning crew. You could see the streak marks on the bathroom mirror when we walked in. Duvet covers had some dark spots. The people who did the second maid service did a better job and it look good. So, first impression not too great but the second time was better. They also offer complimentary snacks which was a great addition. Overall pleasant stay, it was just the cleaning.

If I can give them a zero I would! I feared for my life! This motel is definitely running illegal activities!!! Prostitution & drugs I want my $$$ back

The hotel looks like it’s been remodeled. It’s definitely more modern than other hotel/motels. I’ve stayed at in the area. I would definitely consider this a motel. The pictures on their website look great and the room looked great in person and property looked great in person until I spotted a cockroach and when there’s one you know that there’s thousands, but since my family and I were desperate and it was already late, we decided to stay put and just get through the night everything else about the room was decent except for the cockroach situation it’s very unfortunate because it is a cute place before we saw bug we had talked about staying there frequently when we go down to LA but we quickly changed our minds after that.

You definitely get what you pay for. Check in was okay, though the guy didn't go to the front desk to welcome me as he thought I was a friend of the lady sitting in the lobby. No biggie but I did wait a few minutes to check in. No check out process - just leave the key in the room and go. Enough parking on the premises. There is a liquor store right next to it. It's pretty close to Disneyland. You can even feel and hear the fireworks at night. As far as the room goes, it smelled musty and the floor is barely clean. The sheets, linen, and pillow covers on the main bed looked clean and neat. The ones for the smaller pull out bed, which our toddler slept on looked clean, but as he ruffled through the sheets, we found a huge blood stain on the duvet/comforter. We didn't see it until we were about to check out! Yuck. The bathroom had enough toiletries for our stay and they provided more than enough towels.

Place is clean and new

This property was well-priced and super conveniently located near Disney. A 10 min bus ride for $2 on the app drop off right off at the gates! That said, the cute decor was competing with the fact that the it was not well cleaned and it was so noisy. I had a sound machine and could still hear the neighbors moving upstairs and showering. There was also nowhere to eat in the room. Luckily, I imagine most people aren’t in the rooms for long, but my goodness was it a restless sleep the day before Disney.

Hotel room was dirty. The bathroom floor was stained with white stuff and looked like it hadn’t been washed. Bathroom floorboards were filthy. The floors were super dirty. Within a minute of walking around the room in white socks, they became instantly black from the dirtiness.
