just the location

My room was dirty. Bed sheets were old and full of stains. the light in the bathroom was not working and the sink was half-clogged and smelling like sewers. Please note that this room was an upgrade from the initial room. That was on the ground floor, with no window, extrenely humid. I had to upgrade to another room, which resulted still full of issues as described above.

The beds were very comfortable! It's a small hostel, and at least while I was there, not very social. The hostel staff had things like yoga in the morning suggestions, or a board game evening. No one attended. While I was there, most people, including me, had our own plans. They did have a fantastic QR code wall of suggested things to do. I did not stay for the weekend, and the day I left, they had a group outing Saturday night.

Im ruhigen Condesa. Gut gelegen zwischen Metro und Metrobus. Kleine Extras, wie chilaquiles sonntags. Auf Nachfrage bekam ich ohne Probleme ein frisches Handtuch.

Betten sehr durchgelegen. In meinen ersten Zimmer war null Platz für Gepäck. Badezimmerwaschtische oft verstopft. Umgang mit Bettwanzen fand ich fraglich. Die Mitarbeiterin hat anstandslos meine Sache gewaschen und eingesprüht, obwohl mein Bett/Gepäck nur im Zimmer war. Allerdings musste ich erst selbst aktiv werden und um Zimmerwechsel und Waschen bitten. Nach kürzester Zeit waren wieder neue Gäste im Zimmer.

Minor complaints: The floor outside the private room creaks SO loudly it can be disturbing at night. It's all a bit rusty and grimy. Wasn't the most social hostel. The guy at reception is kind of grumpy. Wouldn't rush back but wouldn't avoid it either

The property was in a good location. It looked beautiful from outside. I liked the big mural wall.

Well where do I start. My first night I woke up to bed bugs crawling in my bed. I complained and was moved beds. The staff said they were dealt with and treated the room. I threw away loads of clothes that had been on that bed during the night. The second night I woke up to bed bugs again in the new bed. Complained again as that was two nights without sleep. I was then moved bedrooms for night 3 and 4. That was all good. Then on night 4 I woke up 12:30am to go toilet. I don’t know what happened but I woke up unconscious on the bathroom floor. Head and face injury. I woke up the male hostel staff sleeping downstairs to show what happened to my face and I was in shock and upset. The hostel did not have a first aid kit or even a cold compress. I had to use a ketchup bottle from the fridge. Worst stay I have had in any hostel in my life and have had 25 years plus of travelling.

I loved the location. I stayed in the 4 bed female dorm and appreciated the privacy shades and storage areas. It felt like a comfortable space for connecting with other solo travelers, and I liked that it wasn’t a party hostel. The rooftop terrace was lovely for hanging out and relaxing. The common areas were always clean and tidy.

-The area directly around the beds in the dorms appeared to have not been cleaned in a while and I got a couple minor spider bites. -The staff seemed to dislike interacting with guests. -sometimes there was hot water in the showers, and sometimes there wasn’t.
