Rudá Boutique Hotel Porto de Galinhas

Literalmente Excelente a Experiência! Tudo impecável, atendimento, locações, quarto, vista para o mar, beira-mar, alimentação, comida, café super inteligente, aonde você escolhe oque vai comer no dia anterior, além do horário, e tudo cheha quentinho no dia seguinte, serviço em geral, localização, a 20 minutos a pé do centrinho pela praia, e 5 minutos de carro. Uber sempre acessivel. Recomendam passeio, recomendo Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Praia dos Carneiros, buggy, pôr do sol em Pontal de Maracaípe, Muro Alto (só nao andem sem chinelo no Recife), Maragogi, city Tour (Olinda e Recife), Ilha de Santo Aleixo, além de tantos outros, porque tudo é Lindo!! Recomendo imensamente a estadia na Rudá, e pode ter certeza que voltar, para esse paraíso na terra que é Porto de Galinhas mais vezes. Obrigado por tonar nossa lua de mel algo inesquecivel. A única coisa que recomendo a vocês e que continuem a exercer esse ótimo trabalho.

Everthing! The hotel is small, so not a lot of guests. I like the personalisation of everything , from the welcome note in the room , to personalised breakfast motivational cards. It is tastefully decorated and our room with a jacuzzi was very spacious with 2 seperate bathrooms for each. Hotel food is almost always 👎👎, but Ruda's was deliscious , big ups to the cooks. From the driver, the receptionists, the barmen everyone was just lovely.We booked all our excursions with the reception, and they were very patient in our back and fourth whatsapp chats. We will certainly be back!

-The area is always windy, making it difficult to swim at the beach(not their fault though) -The rooftop bar is always closed, and thus under-utilised for such a beautiful space -The water temperature in the shower goes up and down -The aircon was always on 16°C , but ineffective. The room was still hot.

The location and staff were excellent. The vista, pool and outdoor facilities were excellent. The restaurant was fantastic, as was the staff.

They did not slow down time !!!

A little overpriced.

- Staff are incredibly attentive, friendly and helpful - Views and beach are beautiful - Additional packages like romantic evening meal are well executed - Room, whilst a little small, is very comfortable and well facilitated. 10/10, couldn’t recommend enough

The hotel had a dozen or so rooms that faced onto an attractive rear garden, a small pool and a long sandy public beach that was clean and good for walking. The beach had a lifeguard service and was always 'red flagged' as the sea was dangerous for swimming because of the confluence of strong currents. You need to walk for almost half an hour to arrive at a safer beach for swimming. Service was very good. We had a problem with a temperamental barhroom shower (the hot water suddenly would stop working) which was fixed the same day. Breakfast was very good. All of the food, hot and cold, arrived from the kitchen to  the table at the same time. Our 'Queen' room was on the first floor and was clean, but very small and the bathroom was tiny. The bedroom and bathroom in their simplicity reminded us of Ibis hotel rooms. The bathroom had a small sink with no hot tap and no shaving mirror. There are no restaurants or bars in the immediate vicinity, but the hotel offers its own restaurant. The hotel has two parking spaces or there is street parking.

We booked on the basis of reviews from other guests but in our opinion the hotel is over-priced for what was provided. The bedroom curtain could not entirely cover the window so light entered the room from dawn. Storage and clothes hanging space in the bedroom and bathroom was very limited. There was no rail/line for drying swimming costumes. The bathroom was windowless so had fan air extraction. The extraction vent was shared with the kitchen. If the bathroom fan was used when food was being cooked in the kitchen, the food smells were noticeable in the bathroom. A bathroom smelling of prawns and oil is not pleasant. The doors of the bedrooms on the first floor, where our room was located, and those the terrace level below, faced onto the hotel lobby, reception area and main entrance. Noise from the lobby and reception, e.g. telephone calls and conversation, were sometimes disturbing at night and in the morning. The bedroom door was not well sealed which contributed to the problem. There was construction work taking place on one side of the hotel and there was another large plot behind the hotel prepared for construction work.

Rudá is a great little place where the staff makes you feel like home. Everyone went beyond what was necessary to make our stay very special. They succeeded. The location is excellent, being just close enough to Porto de Galinhas to allow us to enjoy the restaurants and little shops at the village while just far enough so that we could enjoy peace and quiet in the sunshine. Porto is just a nice walk along the beach during the day or a short Uber ride at night.

The beach in front of the hotel is open sea and swimming is to be taken with a lot of care because of rips and undertows. The pool at Rudá is really nice though.
