The Meyer Hotel

fell victim to false advertising - we found this hotel through Instagram and thought it would be a renovated, well-kept stay. unfortunately our room was very underwhelming, there was no headboard on our bed, it was in desperate need of a deep clean with dirty couches and the bathroom mats looks more like ripped out re-purposed carpet than an actual bath mat. upon closer inspection it looks like their social media really only photographs the Pecan Suite over and over again. hoping to stay here again in a couple of years and see if the rooms are all as advertised, we love comfort and the property itself!

Very comfortable bed and bedding, good sized room. Nice property.

I can hear the room next to me not much noise isolation. The room took a long time to get warm on a cold night.

Convenient location

Did not know the room was on second go. Fortunately that was not a problem for us but it would be good to know before arriving

Beautiful grounds and the rooms are individually decorated - makes the property so interesting!
