Airport Westney Lodge

Airport hotel for parking and ,airport shuttle is exactly as advertised. The room we had was a little noisy with road noise,not a deal breaker for 1 night.. Access a little dificult due to roadworks outside a little email or text before arrival would have been appreciated. Xlaen and tidy newly refurbished room.

Ticked the boxes

The distance from the airport, the kind and helpfull people that work here. The service to be picked up from the airport is quick and easy, just give them a text or ring and they'll come get you. There's a busstop at your front door and with one transfer, 30min later and 6,50 NZD spent your in the city centre.

The bed may be uncomfortable for some. The traffic starts early in the morning (like 0530 on workdays) and its a bit noicy, I brought airplugs though and had 2 wonderfull nights of sleep!

Good location and good warm room

Parking is a bit small

Great for the price - was able to upgrade to own bathroom for $20 extra which I thought was worthwhile. Family member flew in late night and I was flying out next morning so convenient location and saved travel time.

The accommodation had everything you needed, was close to the airport and you could find some shops/restaurants in 15 minutes walking.

The shuttle driver was a bit rude and impatient on the phone when discussing the pickup from the airport.
