Stylish 1BD Seaside Flat North Berwick

The town centre location

It was rather dull and dark inside. No curtain/ blind in the kitchen so builders on scaffold could look in on us. Floorboards and doors very squeaky.

The location was excellent. Just 2 minutes to shops and cafe’s.

Scaffolding was up during our stay and it made windowsills etc very dusty. The flat, particularly the shower in the bathroom, needed a deep clean. Couldn’t get the dishwasher to work. Television gave limited viewing.

Code worked with no problem.The flat has potential and is in a great location but needs updating.

The flat is advertised as stylist and while there are a few quirky pieces of furniture, it is far from stylish, general well worn and not as expected. Admittedly there was building work during our stay, which may have impacted on our experience, as we had to clean the flat because of the dust. Please read the small print as there was £100 cleaning fee, which was a bit of a liberty as the flat is not as clean as it could be. In addition, a £300 fee (refundable) damage charged in advance, yet there is nothing-high quality that justifies this fee.

Very nice spacious flat. In the middle of NB. Close to beach and the town. Well designed. Central but anyhow quiet.

Could do with some jacket hangers in the entrance hall.

We were initially given an incorrect PIN code for the lock box and had to spend time trying to contact the company for the correct one. As there is no direct contact route we were left hanging for quite some time before we received email confirmation of the correct code This was worrying as we feared we might have been scammed. The issue was resolved but it took the shine off the start of the holiday

Location...just around the corner from the beach and very handy for High St shops. Very comfy bed, good shower with plenty of hot water.Well equipped kitchen though no microwave.

Photos give a better impression than reality!Apartment decor was trying to be sea side chic but actually quite scruffy.....floorboards very creaky to walk on and doors did not close as floor uneven. We were disturbed by noise from neighbours on 3 of the 4 nights we were there......on one occasion TV was on all night. No blind on kitchen / living room window which given there was scaffolding on the outside wall was not ideal. Communal hall way and stairs were smelly and un welcoming. The communal front door did not close properly so security was a concern.

Functional. Good location Kitchen etc has all requirements

Entrance is shabby and depressing Pillows poor ( i bought new ones) TV programs/ access limited

the location was perfect for my trip and the amenities that came with the kitchen were super.

everything was great.
