Hoiana Residences

My husband and I, along with our two children (7 and nearly 2) stayed here for 6 nights. We booked 2 rooms, but one of the rooms was smaller than the other, so the information provided wasn't entirely accurate. We had booked our stay well in advance and had requested a room on a higher floor to avoid mosquitoes. Unfortunately, when we arrived, they only had two rooms left, both on the second floor, which was disappointing. The receptionist assured us there wouldn’t be any mosquitoes on the second floor. However, as soon as we entered the room, we could smell mosquito spray, which we recognized from frequent use during our trips in Asia. Within the first hour in the room, both my daughter and I were bitten by mosquitoes. Throughout our stay, I killed several mosquitoes in our room every single day. But given that no other rooms were available, we made the best of the situation. A big plus for the hotel is that they have their own healthcare staff, which is very reassuring. Another highlight was the breakfast buffet at Aroma Restaurant—great atmosphere, a wide selection of food and drinks, and an overall fantastic restaurant. The service was outstanding. The facilities first class. Fabulous variety of cuisine. Beach safe.

Well I would of given a 5 Stars, cause of my room wasn’t an ocean views as I’ve booked online it said ocean view, they also mistaken my name in a different room. not happy 🙄🙄

Beautiful, clean & new. Super value for money

Some areas haven't been developed yet so the view from high floor isn't green.

There are good varieties of choices for activities and restaurants. The room is superb and comfortable.

Breakfast choices and quality are quite disappoiting for 5 star resort.

The hotel is beautiful! So many facilities, beautiful landscapes, amazing at night. We enjoyed our days just being around the hotel. The residences 2br flats were amazing for a family of 4. Beautiful interiors, could cook if you wanted to with plenty of kitchen gear. The staff are off the scale. They are friendly, helpful, genuine. They really watched out for my children and made sure our stay was always enjoyable. Special shout outs to The Residences staff (Finn, Chien, breakfast and housekeeping staff) and Cove/pool staff and lifeguards. The pools are beautiful, kids found the kids club was interesting (although a lot of activities require payment), plenty of food options (albeit quite expensive), several gyms and wellness areas to pick from. One of the best facial treatments I’ve ever had in Downtime Remew spa. Yoga and meditation among other activities available. Close enough to HoiAn. The kids loved taking the Golf buggies all over the hotel and the concierge staff were really attentive.

We weren’t informed on check in about the Hoiana rewards program which gives discounts on some food at the restaurants. As the restaurants are reasonably expensive discount was useful. We visited during an extreme heat period so alot if facilities unusable if you want to stay out of extreme sun and UV, not much shade until afternoon (but after 4pm the beach resort area is perfect!). Shuttles to Hoi am and Danang not very frequent so ended up using grab more. Construction noise next to Aroma breakfast room started within breakfast hours so not too pleasant for sitting outdoors. These are minor things and did not at all take away from the overall 5 star stay.

We got everything we had expected. Comfortable room is well equipped with washer and dryer in the room(one bedroom type). Front desk was nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. Easy access to everything in the resort including fabulous golf course and various dining options. A little away from the beach but it is only a short walking distance.
