Penderyn Cottage Waterfall Country Brecon Beacons

What a wonderful find. A warm homely cottage in a quiet village on a road that had very little passing traffic. Parking available on the road opposite. Accommodation well equipped and immaculate throughout. Comfortable beds Excellent location close to a lot of very scenic walks. Would thoroughly recommend. Take some carrots some for the horses who visit at the kitchen window.

Everything was perfect.

This property was the best one we stayed at during our two weeks in Wales. It was clean, comfortable, and modern. Horses visited each morning and we enjoyed feeding them apples!

Location next to the field with ponies was a lovely treat! The decor was beautiful and all ameneties thought of. Good location to get to the places we were visiting.

The main bedroom bed was way too soft and left my back aching. The noise from lots of trucks to and from the local quarry had me awake from about 5am, as the front bedroom was facing out onto the main road.

Super clean, very well equipped and very cozy

Lovely location, garden was on the edge of a farm lambs were all about. If you are staying for the waterfalls you can walk there in a short time from the house, a trail leads you straight to Sgwd yr Eira and you can avoid the crowds.

No fault with the property, but there is no shop in the village, so you will need to drive out to buy food etc or bring it with you

This quaint little cottage backs onto stunning farmland with livestock grazing just outside the window. The property is extremely well appointed, with the perfect blend of modern and traditional. The hosts have obviously thought very hard about the visitor experience, providing lots of little extra touches, and an abundance of provisions (toiletries, condiments, extra blankets etc). The delightfully quirky decor really makes it feel homely and welcoming, and it was extremely warm and cosy when we visited in mid April. The location within the Brecon Beacons meant that we were able to visit the beautiful Four Waterfalls walk on foot, which was an absolutely wonderful experience.

The rooms are quite small and the sole toilet & shower room is downstairs. No dishwasher in the kitchen. The cottage frontage faces directly onto a road which some drivers use excessively fast, care is needed when crossing and there is occasional traffic noise from large vehicles.

Comfy and cosy cottage, convenient location. Great place to stay for exploring the beauty around.

Property had a home from home feel, had everything you could need already there for you. Exceptionally clean & very cosy. Bed was a little soft for what we’re used to but everyone has their own preference & we still managed to get a decent night sleep. Hosts had good communication prior to stay & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Lovely cottage which we would definitely return to in the future.

No plug socket by the mirror in the main bedroom.
