Starlight Haven Hot Springs

All of it... perfect for our honeymoon and our rest from touring. It was homely, romantic and simply beautiful..

..that we only stayed one night.

It was quiet and private

This place is as advertised. The cabins and geodomes are far enough out to feel "away from it all" letting my husband and I get some much needed R&R - so peaceful and so quiet. But within 10 minutes you can be in the middle of civilization, doing all kinds of fun things in Hot Springs. The kitchen has all the basics to get a simple meal put together. Do not plan on it being a set up for making gourmet meals. Plan for a camping type menu for the best results. The table to dine at is SO nice. These cabins don't always have them but it sure is convenient when they do. One note on the coffee maker in the Deer Run cabin (far from a deal breaker but wanted to mention it) it is a Keurig but it is missing a piece that let you make coffee with K-Cups. I tried to text Starlight Haven about the missing piece but I sent it before 8am on a Saturday and only got their automated reply back. Since it wasn't a vacation ruining event I didn't bother to try contacting them a second time. Really, the place is great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying there. The bed was comfy with plenty of extra pillows and blankets in a well stocked closet full of extra chairs and heaters and other paraphernalia that might be needed during your stay. The hot tub was the perfect size for the two of us and we were in it repeatedly during our week there. Plenty of thick towels are provided. The trail around the property is kinda fun and we saw turtles, deer and little lizards during our stay. The internet is a bit on the slow side but adequate - it's the kind of place where you should be going to, to get away from the screens. We've stayed in several cabins like these in the past. During our stay at this one my husband looked at me in a quiet moment and said "you found a good one here". I have to agree, I did. Thank You Starlight Haven.

We enjoyed our “glamping” tent against the beautiful woods, in the hot tub! This place is a hidden gem with nature, the town of Hot Springs near by, and the National Forest! My dad enjoyed his 75th Birthday and we can’t wait to come back and stay in the treehouse next time!

The Geodome was a neat experience for all. Close enough to get into town yet it felt as if you were deep in the woods and far from it all. The dome had everything you would need for a couple nights stay.

The view was incredible and the hot was very relaxing. The place was super quiet and peaceful. Definitely a place to unwind.

So quiet, peaceful, nice to hear the birds. We enjoyed the personal hot tub. The night we stayed the clouds were too heavy to be able to see the stars but you knew they were there. I should have been better prepared by taking bottle water, snacks and paper towels. Also had a nice club house w fire place and games. Very tranquil
