The Quadrant - The Ruskin Suite

This was a comfortable, modern apartment in a great location. Despite being close to pubs and restaurants it was still very quiet. We loved having a view of the Minster from the balcony. If it hadn't been hot we would have liked to have spent more time on the balcony.

The shower took a bit of getting used to. Small complaint.

Excellent location

We liked that the property was very close to all amenities, corner shop for all our shopping needs, close to town and attractions, various places to eat and drink. Ideal location in the centre of York. We liked the apartment and had everything that we needed.

There was confusion gaining entry to the apartment. Luckily another couple turned up who was also staying in an apartment but also had the same problem we had. The apartment was not signed very well so we had sat nav to direct use. It was only when gaining entry, that the Quadrant sign was visible behind the stairs. We collected the key for our parking space in the room but for some reason another car was in our spot. We phoned the number we needed to sort out problems and was told to park in another slot which we did. We paid parking in a nearby car park but we could of saved some money and parked straight away in a space afterall as the key was not necessary. Overall it took us 1 hour and 30 minutes to sort out, and was not what we wanted on our arrival to our destination for our break to start.

Beautiful modern, clean apartment. Great location and the parking space was a huge bonus! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend.

The location of the property was fantastic and the inclusion of a parking space was an absolute godsend. Situated a mere stones throw from York city walls and with a small supermarket, a few cafes and other eateries on the doorstep of the property, this really did exceed our expectations in terms of convenience and local amenities. Moving on to the apartment itself, we encountered a 5 star experience. The furnishings and facilities are of an exceptionally high standard and even though we stayed during a particularly chilly January, we were able to enjoy a warm and very comforting environment for the duration of our stay. The inclusion of a bottle of Cava in the fridge and premium tea and coffee were lovely touches. The highlight of the facilities has to be the beautiful designed bathroom, featuring the type of shower that everyone would love to have at home but most could only dream of. We had a fabulous time in the Ruskin Suite and won't hesitate to stay there again in the very near future.
