El Bálsamo - Hotel Rural 5 Estrellas

It was a total revelation. One of the most amazing boutique hotels we've ever stayed in. Everything, just everything, was perfect! Starting by a very warm welcome by Mikhaila, one of the hotel managers, who made us feel like at home, once we've entered the premises. We could feel the personal touch throughout the whole stay. The hotel interior looks marvelous - beautifully decorated and creatively well-balanced in terms of medieval architecture and modern infrastructure. The inside salt-water swimming pool in the cave - is absolutely magnificent. Overall, the environment is very welcoming, quiet, and relaxing. Add a tasty breakfast with a good cup of coffee on top of all - and you get a perfect place for a retreat from a hectic lifestyle. Will come again!

I wish I had more days to spend in El Balsamo.

The property successfully combines age with modernity. It is hundreds of years old but has achieved a very modern feel without compromising its history.
