The Kiwi Motel

If i could rate this 0 I would. We booked this motel because it was freshly renovated. Checked in at 4pm and then went to the beach and had dinner. We got back to the motel at 9:15 pm and went to go sit in bed. We found blood on 2 of the pillows and on the blanket. Keep in mind we have not sat in the bed yet. We go to the front desk and no one is there. We email and call their emergency line and no one picks up. We ended up sleeping in our cars because it was evident the sheets were not washed. Upon the manager coming in at 9am the next day, they state they did not receive any emails or calls. We show them proof and they brush it off. The owner then comes in closer to 10AM and after arguing tells us that she will provide us with a full refund. It has been 2 weeks and no refund has been provided. We have called multiple tiimes and everyone they do not answer or hang up. Avoid this place at all costs. The floors were covered in sand, sheets unwashed, bathroom sink dirty and the bathroom door did not close.

This is a little hidden gem incredible staff who by the way are all young people and their service is remarkable. Everything is super clean and well maintained there is a pool, hot tub, fire pits and games this property has been newly renovated and everything is new, we knew the rooms were rather small from the pictures on their website which will change our choice of rooms next time. Rooms followed the theme of the outside but a few things could improve not one drawer a small night stand with a drawer would have made sense most people do not need more than one or two small drawers. There are real glass glasses and ceramic cups fresh creamers in the fridge which is a welcomed change but not a stir stick in sight to stir your coffee with. First thing we notice walking into the bathroom was a safety bar by the toilet but not one in the beautiful huge shower and towels and extra toilet paper, hair dryer and iron are stored on a shelve at floor level. These are not a game changer for us we loved the place but will bring a few different things next visit. If you will be staying in Grand Bend in the future give the Kiwi motel try.

The motel is easy to find . . . a mall is across the street for every need including LCBO. Small bar on site. Great outdoor activity area.

Very nice and clean rooms. Loved the pool. They have a very late check in at 4 and early check out at 11am so you need 2 nights to take advantage of the amenities. I recommend! .
