Powder Village Retreat by Revelstoke Vacations

The property was convenient and clean and was perfectly located for visiting the revelstoke gondola. The facilities were all very new and the jacuzzi was a good addition.

There is a lot of construction work at the moment around Revelstoke and the back patio looks out on a building site at the moment.

Really clean, well stocked, comfortable beds, lovely Mountain View. I would recommend for winter time or cool weather stay only.

I overlooked the fact that there is no air conditioning in the apartment. When we arrived there were fans on but the apartment was really warm. The lack of air conditioning was made worse because the only window into the living room area is the sliding glass door which does not have a bug screen on it. As soon as we opened the door lots of mosquitos started to come in! That left us with just one window in each bedroom to try to cool the whole apartment with. The second issue with no air conditioning was that the window in the king bed room opened wide enough that the corner went over the bed and I was worried of hitting my head on it at night, also the outside safety light is right outside the room so shines in very bright if the window is opened. We also had a small issue with the wifi, and I wasn’t super excited about having to register a credit card through an external link to get check in information. I have never had to do that before with a place I have reserved through booking. The directions are a bit confusing, if you GPS the address it sends you to the mailboxes a bit down the road from the actual apartment. I didn’t use the hot tub, the mosquitoes were too bad and the temperature was only barely warm. I’m guessing this is because of the summer weather and with no air conditioning I don’t think I would have wanted to get in it hot either. Lots of notes about extra cleaning fees that could be associated with using the hot tub, so I just avoided it. I understand that not noticing the lack of air conditioning was my fault. It isn’t stated anywhere that there is no A/C, it just isn’t listed on amenities. Addition of air conditioning, different check in procedures and stronger WiFi would make this place a 10/10.

Clean and bright accommodation. Beautiful space to relax in. Perfect for our extended family - each person had their own space. Great access to Revelstoke Mountain.

A few extra items to stock in the kitchen such as peeler, bottle opener, foil and parchment paper. Otherwise we had everything we needed!
