The location was excellent, 1 minute walk to beach and port, clean, spacious apartment and the tea and coffee facilities and little thoughtful gifts on arrival were appreciated

Absolutely nothing

We were met by the lovely Susanne and Jan who showed us around and explained everything. The apartment is beautiful and so clean. It had everything you could need.

The bedrooms were very warm at night. However, there is air con and fans just a few exceptionally warm nights not much anyone can do.

Our hosts were exceptional and went above and beyond. The location is PERFECT. It’s so near to the beach and the port but it’s also lovely and quiet at night. The apartment has been refurbished really nicely with air conditioning in the living area and fans in every room. There is a decently sized freezer so that you can keep lots of ice in the hot weather. The bed was so comfortable, we got a really good sleep. That’s really all you need when you’re just using it as a base and out and about during the day. We were very happy we chose to stay here.

Not much to criticise! But in case it’s helpful: There aren’t beach towels provided so that’s not ideal if you’ve only got hand luggage and can’t bring towels with you. A microwave might be handy for reheating things like coffee as it goes cold quickly. The outside area is set up as the dining area, but it was too hot to use it in July. We didn’t mind as it can’t be helped, but it might be worth mentioning up front prior to purchase to manage people’s expectations.
