The access to the ocean and the bathroom and bed were good.

The pictures were not the same. The WiFi barely worked. The kitchen mini bar coffee station were bare and kitchen very badly stocked with little items to use. Broken decor TV was cracked and hanging off the wall. For R2900/$163 this was appalling standards. Invoices incorrectly invoiced wrong name. Charged 3 x city taxed only invoiced for 2 people. Completely and utterly over priced. A 1 star establishment charging a 4/5 star fee. Excluding breakfast...absolutely ridiculous. Had noisey neighbours and upstairs. Will definitely not recommend this establishment.

The size of the room and bathroom . The friendly staff . The hot tub plug did not fit and could not use the hot tub on the balcony. Loved the net over the very big bed. The food from the restaurant was not that great.

This property.. this property is the worst. It wasn't dirty it was spacious. But security ia a huge thing for ladies traveling. There is security issuws on this property.. When I complained to booking.com about them. They made a false claim that the property was damaged. It's completely untrue . The issue was security ***We had the room to the entrance of the property closet to the main road area.. none of the widows closed, and no one was on the property at reception when we arrived. . Just the young men and his friend that open the door for us. We didn't sleep in the rooms. We didn't sleep at all, the first thing in moring was went to reception to let them know we disnt and . Don't feel safe . I asked them billed me for the one night as we will find something else. I called booking who was soooo helpful. ( Mirima ) Thank you so much for all your help. She was on the phone for 90 minutes as the property refused to check me out. The lady at the front desk was calling her "director" and dais I had to water for him to make decision. Mirima from booking asked me not to hang up until her boss called back. Booking agent sent them 3 refund request as i won't be staying there. The receptionist finally claim that " the director got the email abd I will get my refund. Just got from my trip and they made a false claim I damages rhe property. But I took videos of the unlocked windows before I left and I video of her checking them . What company claims fraud when someone complains about security issues. Liars scammers

I had such a lovely time at Acqua Marina Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome and cared for. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Their warmth truly made the experience special. Highly recommend!

The view of the beach was stunning and the staff were friendly

1. The WiFi is pathetic- it’s less than 1MB speed and randomly drops and disconnects 2. The breakfast is not a buffet and is portion controlled, also they don’t have all ingredients listed on the breakfast list - it’s a JOKE. 3. The photos are totally different to reality- they don’t maintain the property- the grass is long and the structure looks old 4. It’s so obvious they’ve skimped and cut corners on everything and everywhere where possible.eg. Coffee is on the menu for breakfast. You’re expected to use the same sachets that’s available in your room to make your coffee from the a flask with hot water on your table. Even the juice given is half of a small glass. 5. No mosquito nets are not available - your room is sprayed with doom and you have to vacate it for 15mins in the evening and stand outside while getting bitten by mozzies 6. The sun beds are old 7. The bed is uncomfortable and the pillows are so big and hard - we asked for softer pillows and only received them on the last night after I followed up three times

The hotel property is very big and looks very nice. As it was low season, we had the feeling to have the place for ourselves. The waiting staff is very friendly and professional, it was very pleasant to spend time at the restaurant by the pool thanks to them. The rooms are fairly big and kept very clean by the staff. The swimming pool is perfect. There is a direct access to the beach, the whole place looks great.

Food is hit and miss, it can very good one day and 2 days later, the same dish will taste poorly, they really need to work on their consistency (especially as their prices are close to european ones). They seemed to have low food/drinks inventory (maybe because of low season), in the 2 weeks we ended staying there, we probably had full breakfast with all the items 2 or 3 times only.
