AUAUThe receptionist was polite and friendly.
The room was at the very top and had no windows to look out to any views. If you stood on a chair you could stick your head through the dormer window and see the view. It would be good to know this prior to booking the room. Also you had to constantly crouch down to avoid hitting your head in all rooms but the kitchen. You couldn’t sit at the kitchen table to eat as you would bump your head. The kitchen was the best room and had good appliances but still didn’t have a toaster which would be handy.
GBLocation and view were spectacular. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The lodge was spotlessly clean and well furnished. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was well laid out, the scrambled eggs were a nice addition to the continental style breakfast. Good range of fresh fruit.
