"Excellent"

Hosts were warm and welcoming. Breakfast was yummy. Location was convenient to wineries and services. Shared bathroom was the major downside.

"I’ll be back!"

My first time at a B&B did not disappoint! Shawn and Amy were excellent hosts. Both the bed and the breakfast were great. I was surprised at all the extra parts of the property that a whole family could enjoy, like the theater and game room in the basement. Obviously the wine country views and bird chatter in the morning were lovely too.

"Everything was perfect for our short stay."

We had a wonderful time staying at the Gaard House. Shawn and Amy treated us to a lovely breakfast on Sunday morning and we had great conversation. The location is perfect for visiting many wineries or other attractions in the Yamhill Carlton area. We will make a return trip for another weekend stay sometime soon. Thanks, Jeff Harn

It was a wonderful stay! Shawn and Amy were wonderful hosts and just genuinely good people! They were super accommodating, friendly, and not fussy! Our room was clean and comfy. The bed was also comfortable and we slept well every night. Breakfasts were perfect whether we ate indoors with the other guest or we ate out on the terrific patio. The view of the vineyards and the overall spaciousness of the shared areas were perfect for our much-needed vacation. The shared bathroom was clearly cleaned very well. We highly recommend the Gaard House and look forward to getting back over there ourselves!

"Gorgeous countryside experience"

Attention to detail in the design of the house, the facilities including the billiards table, a great home cinema and the gorgeous views.

Can’t think of anything. You need to share a bathroom between two rooms, but that is a small price compared to all the positives and doesn’t matter if you are a large family.

This was an amazing retreat for the weekend. Hospitality was off the charts and the breakfast was thoughtful and delicious. The property is breathtaking and close to everything we needed. We are basketball fans and the theatre room was an unexpected surprise that saw plenty of use for NCAA conference tournament games😁
