North Lodge Cartmel

Perfect accommodation for our family with two teenagers and my mother-in-law with limited mobility. Freshly renovated and spotlessly clean. We also enjoyed some local treats from the host. Instructions were easy to follow, kitchen was well equipped and everytging seemed very new. Loved all the different areas to sit outside. Cartmel is beautiful, great little escape from the other more touristy parts of the Lakes. The gardens surrounding the lodges were beautiful as well.

Nothing, it was all great

My family was stunned with the quality of the home conditions. All the equipment is of the highest quality. The house has a wonderful backyard. The master bedroom is BIG, and the bed is of a good size for a tall person like me. The location is excellent for a tranquil rest. Wonderful Cartmel village nearby. If I ever intend to visit Lake District again, I will be checking availability of these properties.

The only thing we were missing is a washing machine. Since the property is surrounded by nature, clothes can get dirty and it would be nice to be able to wash them.

Lovely location , everything we needed was available.and in good condition

The water pressure was quite low, which may be due to the area and nothing to do with the Lodge. The single beds were a bit short, fine for myself and one daughter, but a bit of a squeeze for my other daughter at 5ft 10 inches A BBQ area outside would be a nice addition, as there is the room for one A hot tub would be fantastic, but of course, it would affect the price I would imagine. Also, a second bathroom would be helpful for 5 adults. Overall a lovely place and very comfortable.

There wasn’t anything not to like it was beautiful

It was spacious, warm and the garden was beautiful

Very little but there was one combined toilet and shower room

Absolutely stunning property, would definitely book here again as it was beautiful scenery aswell as the actual lodge. The booklet that has a list of what is near such as restaurants, local taxi numbers, and even petrol stations was very helpful.

There are no negatives from our trip, the only thing we regret is only booking a two night stay! We will definitely recommend this to a friend and will hopefully stay here again.
