Not kids friendly, they can not use the big pool

Absolutely beautiful hotel and location for a quiet stay. Everything was first class. So relaxing and tranquil.

The hotel itself is beautifully done; the design in the reception area is tastefully neutral and you feel calm upon arrival and the lavender field as you drive in is wonderful. We did the lavender dinner during our stay and it really was a highlight with live music as the sun set. Breakfast was on the whole very good with lots of different options included in the room rate, both on the menu and buffet. Silvia was always a super friendly face first thing in the morning and very accommodating. We loved the trail that ran past the hotel up the mountains and daily yoga for guests.

We were in the main building (room 4) and we were grateful to have just a short walk to breakfast and the pool but given that it’s eastward facing we were disappointed not to get much light with just small pokey windows. The wifi is also a variable quality which is not ideal for a hotel of this standard. The water in the room was not restocked daily unless requested, which was a bit of a hassle given the tap water in Mallorca tastes of chlorine. We ordered room service one night and after 8pm it’s just four items, a couple of which are cheese (not good when dairy free!) - very limited options and very expensive too if you want to do this one night (€20-30 for a small plate of ham). Two days during our stay was a total disaster on the breakfast front with omlettes taking almost an hour, things being forgotten about from the order and several people complaining that their breakfast hadn’t arrived 15/20 minutes after breakfast had finished. It was very noticeable throughout our stay that the hotel was really lacking a general manager to keep things running smoothly and staff were junior and inexperienced, and often didn’t seem to know what was going on. For a hotel that’s £600 a night you’d expect the staff to be really well trained and professional and we didn’t find that. Some were also much friendlier than others. The main pool itself is lovely and a really decent size. It’s a shame you can see and hear the road as it would be really tranquil otherwise. The sun beds were noticeably grubby and the umbrellas a bit shabby in places (one snapped in half whilst we were there). One of our main issues was the €6 for a small bottle of water charge which seemed ludicrous given water was free elsewhere across the hotel. There’s a free dispenser by the gym; why not by the pool too? Glasses weren’t cleared for hours on end with people clearing their own after 4/5 hours and cocktail sticks from fruit all over the floor.

This is a tricky one. The overall stay was good but for a five star category hotel a few things must be questioned. Looking at the website one would never think that the actual view from the hotel is a busy highway. If it wasn’t for the grasshoppers and their own busy sound, the sound of the highway would have probably taken over completely. As the view is extremely important for us this could better be highlighted as we probably would not have booked the hotel due to this, of course the matter of the highway is not the hotels fault. Furthermore, the bathroom shower was not completely cleaned with black hair visable after checking in and still under cleaning days. After cleaning - both days - the main door was never locked. Not ok. The pool service is not good, and unfortunately they do not offer any snacks or light food for purchase at all. Even though this could have easily been fixed. This is a big error for its 5star ranking. Apart from this the restaurant was lovely, great service and food. The rooms are also quite nice.

The service here was exceptional from every single staff member. They always went above and beyond to make sure any needs or concerns were addressed and then some. The property was beautiful and the restaurant incredible.

pretty small room vs price for mallorca

Beautiful property with hiking trails, great pool area m, outdoor gym, daily yoga and golf cart service to get anywhere around the property, with friendly and accommodating staff. On the downside, our room was already showing signs of wear with water marks from a leak on the ceiling of the bathroom, food at the restaurant was only ok and service was inconsistent (no one attended the pool area to replace towels or clean during the day and no servers for drinks at the pool). Our room was also not cleaned after our first night as the cleaning staff ‘missed’ it despite us putting up a sign for cleaning. Overall, while there are some very nice things about this property I would go elsewhere for the amount it costs.

Beautiful hotel, perfectly peaceful. Staff were very personable and friendly, made the stay feel very relaxing. Singular Restaurant was one of the best hotels I’ve experienced, and on par with some of the best stand restaurants too. Food was stunning, amazing service and great value too.
