The owner was kind and accommodating, allowing me to check in quite late at night. The room felt clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was great and felt safe.

It was a hassle to pay for the room as his credit card reader wouldn't take my card, despite it working everywhere else I went for 3 weeks. I ended up having to pay extra fees on my debit card in the end. However, he was patient and kind about the difficulty. The room and hotel were fine and clean, but nothing exceptional. I didn't see any other travelers and it wasn't a particularly warm or cozy place. I only read afterwards that there is an upstairs patio that I was never shown or told about. The shower was clean but abysmal, but that seems to be standard around this area. Overall, it served a purpose as a safe and clean place to sleep at night.

Sem sombra de dúvidas a localização é o ponto alto desta Casa. A noite em Cartagena o barulho toma conta de todos os cantos e escolher um lugar tranquilo faz toda diferença para uma estadia confortável. Perto de tudo a poucos minutos andando, quarto amplo, ar condicionado funcionando super bem. Anfitriões e funcionários super solícitos. Eu, inclusive, deixei minha mala guardada gratuitamente com eles para ir até São Basílio de Palenque. Excelente estadia.

Chuveiro sem pressão, mas pelo que estou percebendo isto é um problema comum em Cartagena.

This property took my money, and when I arrived there it was closed and I could not check in. Expedia eventually refunded me. Make sure you don’t deal with this property.

J'ai tout d'abord apprécié la gentillesse des hôtes, leur disponibilité. Ils m'ont conseillée, m'ont aidée dans mes démarches... D'autre part, c'est un joli lieu, une maison qui a une histoire. Et c'est un endroit très calme tout en étant au centre d'un quartier très animé.

Die Lage in Getsemani ist aussergewöhnlich. In der ruhigen Gasse hört man nichts vom ganzen Trubels und ist doch mittendrin. Die Betreuung durch die beiden äußerst höflichen Host ist sehr angenehm, auch wenn sie beide nur spanisch sprechen. Die unteren Zimmer haben die Fenster zum Innerhof, wo jeder Gast vorbeigeht. Entsprechend ist die Privatsphäre bei offenen Läden eingeschränkt.
