Hyatt Regency Conroe

It is a very nice hotel with updated decor. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't eat any food there because it was expensive. The floors in our room were very cold at night when we got up to use the restroom. It was nice that lights came on automatically under the bed and the sink in the restroom. We could hear the people on the floor above us all during the night walking heavily and moving things around.

Very nice hotel in a great location. The hotel is modern and the set up and amenities in the room are well thought out. I would definitely stay here again.

Poor conditions We stayed at the Hyatt Regency last weekend for a wedding and were deeply disappointed — the hotel is all marketing hype with very little substance behind it. For a room rate of $185 per night (plus taxes and fees), the experience was shockingly subpar. The bedding was a single duvet with a sheet draped over it; since the room had only one desk chair, guests naturally sat on the bed, and we then had to sleep under that same unwashed cover. The main overhead light in the bedroom didn’t work at all, leaving us fumbling around in the dark. Breakfast was not included (advertised as included), and even a simple glass of juice at the restaurant cost $4 + tax and tip. The final frustration came at checkout. The day before arrival, I called and spoke with a staff member named Tyler to request a 2:00 pm early check-in, as we needed to be at the wedding venue by 3:30 pm. He told me he couldn’t guarantee it but never mentioned any fee. When we checked out, I was charged $40 for the early check-in — a charge I was never informed about in advance. Overall, the Hyatt Conroe fell far short of the standards you’d expect at this price point, and the lack of transparency around fees left an especially sour taste.

Andrew was very professional at the front desk during our check-in process being prompt but still personable. The room was clean and well maintained. Our breakfast waitress Tini was very nice to take care of all needs and did it with a smile. Her public relations skills made the breakfast experience pleasant and the food was delicious at the Conroux.

Unfortunately we had some very loud partygoers around 1 am that were going between rooms for about 39 minutes, and they let the doors shut loudly.
