Very comfortable, clean house, with everything that we needed.

Spacious, with good facilities, quiet and comfortable. Good access to a good local grocery shop and pharmacy (at the end of the same road), and a short walk to the shops in the town, with a good choice of coffee and tea shops and a few restaurants. We enjoyed a good Italian meal at Due Fratelli. Only a short walk to the beach front and attractions there. Also very convenient for Woodhorn Museum, where we were competing in a triathlon. Not too far from Alnwick for visiting the castle.

The keys to the patio were not provided, which meant that we could not use the patio, which was a little frustrating given the good weather that we enjoyed. We would have liked to have taken our breakfast and lunches on the patio. This also meant that we could not access the bins, which were in the back garden/patio area, but the owner was happy that we just leave our bagged rubbish at the patio windows at the end of our stay. It was also a slight safety issue as it meant that one exit was not available to us. I raised this with our host, but keys were not provided. For this reason I have made the overall score 7 (good) whereas otherwise I would have scored it 9 (Superb).

Decent sized house. Plenty of space. Nicely furnished. Clean. Dog friendly. Three minutes to the beach. Great beach side cafe. Nice craft ale bar. Short drive to Alnwick and the long beaches further north. And compared to how pricey the rest of the area is becoming, still affordable.

Check in and check out are via keybox, so never met anyone. Though there was a helpline....and we didn't have any problems.

No welcome pack lol The outside was very tired and needs sprucing up so you can sit there No dogs upstairs is very difficult with an open staircase

Everything! Was a beautiful place! Right next to the town and the beach! Was honestly the best place we have stayed at! Pictures don't do it justice Beds were great too best sleep I've had!

Parking was a little issue some of the locals like their spaces!! But didn't bother us as there is a free carp park a few doors down

Clean & in good repair. Excellent base for touring the north east. Welcome pack was a lovely touch. Very spacious 2 bed house.

No issues apart from the pillows had seen better days.

Great location for beach dog walks, meals out and visiting family.

There was a bit of dirt in the bath.
