The Bradstan Boutique Hotel

Lots of disappointments with our recent stay at your hotel from May 30th to June 1st. My husband and I booked this getaway in celebration of our 10-year anniversary, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. Upon our arrival at 8:00 PM on Friday evening after a extremely lenghthy drive from Queens, New York City, we were surprised to find that both the restaurant and bar were already closed for the evening. We were looking forward to relaxing with a nice bite to eat meal and alcoholic beverage. It was beyond disappointing to find out that no food or beverage options were available at that hour on a friday night. We also requested a courtesy upgrade due to the inclement weather for the entire weekend, which made it unresonable to enjoy any of the hotel’s amenities such as the pool, jacuzzi, kayaking ,or firepit. Our request was denied, with an explanation that there were no available rooms. However, based vacant parking lot and the absence of other guests during our stay, this explanation seemed false. To make matters worse, the following morning we overheard a group of 4-6 men in the breakfast café discussing hotel matters in a manner that led us to believe they were the owners. Shockingly, we heard them laughing and making derogatory remarks about our request for an upgrade. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also deeply hurtful and inappropriate, especially as paying guests simply trying to salvage a special weekend. We left feeling disappointed, unwelcome, and disrespected. We chose your this hotel for what we hoped would be a memorable and relaxing celebration, and instead were met with closed facilities, poor service, and offensive behavior.

Amazing property. Well kept and beautiful. Service was also great. We didn’t make it on time for breakfast one time, and the girls from the kitchen offered us pastries and eggs. We will definitely be back.

I live in manhattan and have been looking for years for a great summer getaway in ny, nj, or conneticut. The requirements are simple: great outdoor pool, beautiful grounds, clean, good service, not crowded. and a nice bar. I have never been able to find anything that gets decent reviews in all categories. That was until I found this hidden gem. 2 hours from nyc, this place is gorgeous. A nature preserve that is kept beautifully. The rooms are spacious, high tech, and gorgeous with an outdoor deck. You will not find a speck of dust, dirt, food, or debris anywhere and I mean anywhere. The public bathrooms are always immaculate. The pool is beautiful and drinks served on weekends. The service is great. The best part is that the hotel has about 20 rooms so it's never crowded so no getting up early to save a seat at the pool. There are tons of indood fireplaces, outdoor firepits, and thoughtfully placed tables and chairs throughout the property to find a place to relax. There is a beautiful lake that you can take a canoe or fish or simply walk around. There is a great gym and spa. We will be coming back here often. 5 stars all the way.

We recently spent a few days at the Bradstan, and couldn’t have been happier with the experience! The hotel itself was clean, modern, and cozy- it was chilly for June, and they had the fireplaces going in the sitting areas. We found the staff to be extremely nice, and motivated to make our stay enjoyable. The included breakfast was a nice touch! The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the we loved the lake access. I would say that the pool was our favorite. I would give it a 10/10 if they had bar service! Our only complaint isn’t about the hotel, but the Homestead Restaurant. It has amazing potential- view, decor, great bar, etc., but the food was subpar. We ordered apps, meals, and dessert, and not one of them was more than ok. We were definitely disappointed, but we should have listened to the other reviews that stated the same thing. If anything, skip the restaurant, and head straight upstairs to the bar! We booked the Bradstan on a whim, and as we were driving away, my husband and I both agreed we would be back!

As always very friendly, clean and relaxing. Staff continues to go above and beyond; management as well! A++ - Way to go. My wife and I look foward to our next stay! *****Highly Recommend*****

Lets start with the bad and work out way to the good. We booked this trip for our 10 year anniversary. We are from the city (queens, New York), and frequently take trips upsatte for some R&R. When I booked the trip i notified the hotel that we woul dbe celebrting durning our weekend gettaway.

Husband and myself stayed for a concert at Bethel Woods. This hotel is great! Very clean and quiet. The shuttle to Bethel woods was seamless. The included breakfast was nice. We will definitely be back to spend time at the hotel when we aren’t in town for an event.

This is an absolutely breathtaking property with many free amenities for the price. It was spotless. Great front desk experience and shuttle bus ride to the show. Highly recommend. If we are splitting hairs, my only two recommendations would be to have actual tissue boxes in the bathroom (not the small pocket type) and free shuttle service to the shows.

The Bradstand Boutique Hotel is exceptional, to say the least. My husband and I visited for our 14th anniversary, and our stay was amazing. Beautiful, well-designed, clean rooms, attentive and caring service from the staff, and a delicious complimentary breakfast. The restaurant is a short walk away, and the menu is diverse, and the food is delicious. We loved the peaceful 2-mile walk around the lake and the wildlife in the woods. I highly recommend anyone who wants a tranquil and peaceful break away from New York City.

A memorable stay. Beautiful view, perfect tranquility combined with all modern facilities. The breakfast was great and food at the restaurant is very good too. We loved the decor. The trek along the lake was nice. Lovely welcoming staff. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable.
