Mad Alice's Cottage, Saltburn

Great little cottage, located within 30ish minutes from Staites, Whitby and Saltburn which was perfect for us. No bathroom upstairs so not ideal for the less mobile. Pet friendly, so bear that in mind. We really enjoyed our stay and there is everything you need. It is on a main road although there is parking nearby and we didnt find it noisy at all. Hosts where really informative and there's loads of info on where to go and what to do on arrival.

Perfect location to explore the area. We were there for a wedding and it made a perfect base.

Nothing. The cottage is immaculate, the communication was great. We felt really welcomed despite not meeting the host. Everything had been considered.

Super clean and comfortable. A great base for exploring North Yorkshire coast.

Great little house which was immaculate with a cute garden area.

I didn't know the area before and the town of Loftus is a little rough around the edges but we were out and about so not a major issue. Probably wouldn't choose this town again tbh but the house was certainly the best on the street which felt lovely.
