My husband and I stayed here for a night. Communication was great. Beautiful old inn. The best part was the owners daughter/husband are chefs! Like...gourmet chefs! I think I had the best breakfast I've ever had in my life here. Just a lovely family owned - beautiful VT Inn. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

"Lovely B&B"

10.0

It was so cute, decorated lovely for fall, perfect representation of Vermont. The breakfast was so delicious and made fresh to order in the morning. You can appreciate the attention to detail and care Vicky and her family put into the B&B. Would highly recommend!

It was a lovely place….just, there were lady bugs in the room, which surprised us, but that could be something expected for the location/region.

We arrived late due to a set back. We were called and given instructions when we got there on where our key will be. When we got there, She came out and made sure that I got my key.

I do not have any suggestions. Everything was great. Very friendly and pleasant staff.

"Perfect stay in Vermont"

10.0

The whole property was so lovely, it was like something out of a movie! The beds are comfortable and a lovely duvet and pillows, the shower was hot and powerful Breakfast was very good , with various options and cooked just how you ask The Eatery is often busy with locals and is a great place to have an evening meal, local well made food, from one of the best salads I have ever had, to delicious chicken tenders and a BLT that my daughter had both nights as she loved it so much, my regret was I didn’t try the pot pie as it looked amazing. There is a little room to play chess and games and a porch to sit on and take in the beautiful building Everyone was so friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome, we’re already planning to return. It’s an easy place to have as a base to explore Vermont, and the Chester historic district is worth checking out too.

"Amazing staff and food"

8.0

It was quaint. Extremely clean and well kept. The staff was amazing and attentive. The restaurant was outstanding! Food was delicious and reasonable.

It is a very old building; Narrow hallways, small rooms, uneven floors. The bed did not have a box spring and squeaked when you moved around.

If you’re looking for an authentic experience in a 200 year old home - with tons of wonderful history and true early American character - you’ll love this stay! This is NOT a shiny new hotel, with all the conveniences. You can forget your free “make-your-own hot breakfast” deal. This chef-curated breakfast was fresh, carefully crafted, and delicious! The eggs were light, fluffy and flavorful. The bacon was thick and cooked perfectly. And OMG, the homemade Belgian waffles were literally covered with fresh blueberries and powdered sugar! Yes!!
