Nette grote kamers

Enorm veel lawaai tot in de vroege uurtjes. Wij kwamen hier om tot rust te komen op onze eerste nacht Mexico, maar hebben geen oog dichtgedaan. We verbleven hier normaal 2 nachten, maar zijn na onze eerste nacht vertrokken wegens het lawaai. Helaas geen refund gekregen van de tweede nacht.

Overall good but my room had few issues and staff is not available frequently. Security box wasn’t working , bathroom lamp had some issues and I couldn’t use the TV. It needs to be upgraded.

The pool was great because it was very hot when we stayed. We also appreciated the fridge in our room. Aircon was also lovely.

The hotel is a few streets away from the noisy party bars in Playa Del Carmen, but close enough to walk to any of the restaurants. Lovely courtyard with small pool on the other side of the keypad-locked front gate. Rooms are on 3 floors overlooking the trees in the courtyard, where they also provide filtered drinking water. Rooms are roomy and have all the expected amenities, including chairs outside to enjoy the warm weather.

We stayed on two occasions, going to/from Cozumel; unfortunately, our second one-night stay was severely marred by our hotel room being broken into. Even though there was video footage of the intruder in the courtyard it seems strange that someone could get in so easily and then found at least 2 rooms on the ground floor with the windows unlocked (ours was not the only one broken into). I admit, we did not check the windows before we left for dinner - a mistake we won't make again - and that cost us 2 laptop computers. Thank goodness our passports were in the safe, which was not compromised. The hotel did refund that night's stay once we reported it, though.

Lovely stay in the center of PDC. The room was nice and great shower as well. The pool and shared patio were wonderful.

At night you do get a lot of noise of the nightclubs nearby so bring earplugs + the airco only worked so-so, which kept us awake in a 30 degree celsius night.

The room was a very good size and the beds very comfortable.

The shower head was not great, needs fixing
