Host & Stay - The Pepper Pot

Lovely location - near to village/beaches/attractions but remote at the same time so it is very quiet and peaceful. Warm and cosy.

Well situated for resorts and sights. Property had some attractive features.

Limited cooking facilities. Poor storage, especially in the bedroom. A very slippery shower with no mat or hand holds which I considered a real safety risk. My dogs had to be on the lead at all times outside.

Quiet and secluded. Close to picturesque coast and towns of Northumberland

just the bench for dining table!

The Pepper Pot was a stunning location for us to relax for a few days in Northumberland. Exceptionally clean and tidy and with great amenities, we couldn't fault it. Dog friendly, too so our border collie also had a wonderful stay. It's one of the few places we can't wait to come back to!

Cottage was lovely and comfortable. Very peaceful location. Bed was one of the best I have slept on in a cottage and better than any hotel

Nothing we did not like

The location was perfectly situated to explore the best of Northumberland, including Alnwick, Holy Island and Bamburgh. The cottage itself was very clean and we found the bed particularly luxurious. The bathroom was also very modern - the shower was a particular highlight, a proper rainfall shower that even my 6ft5 partner could fit under!

The living room sofa could have been a little more comfortable, perhaps an L-shaped style to put your feet up and some plumper cushions. The bench for the table was also a bit too high, so it was difficult to have a comfortable sit down meal. We also found that the shower tray leaked.

the property is cosy and comfortable and well located just a short drive from some beautiful coastline. The decor is bright and clean, the bed is comfortable and the kitchenette is sufficient for cooking basic meals (a micro/convection oven).

Nothing not to like :-)
