Host & Stay - Sandcastles Apartment

Great location.

There was a strange smell in the bathroom and some of the surfaces were quite dusty. I didn't like the surprise additional costs for insurance that were compulsory, but only mentioned after you had booked.

The view from apartment is stunning also had a elevator as it’s on 3rd floor was a lovely surprise to find would stop there again for sure allso had espresso machine 😁

Bed was a little on small side being 6ft 4 that’s usually the case but I reckon a kingsize will fit

Location and everything we needed

There was a horrible drain sewage smell in the bathroom we think it was coming from the shower or sink? Needs addressing with a plumber as smell turns stomach and this is what would prevent us from staying again. Also maybe a portable fab for the summer months as bedroom soo warm even without radiators .Car park expensive £9 a day

I cancelled this booking so these question are a waist of time. I will be very wary of using booking.com again as this Host and stay booking included extra charges that were not clearly listed. I also got direct emails from host and stay, where is the data protection.
