"Kleines feines Apartmenthaus"

In einer ruhigen autofreien Straße der Altstadt von Rethymno liegt dieses kleine feine Apartmenthaus. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt sind fußläufig erreichbar. Zum Sandstrand läuft man 15 MIN. die Promenade entlang. Die Ausstattung ist durchwegs hochwertig (Küche, Bad...). Der Empfang war überaus herzlich. Nochmals: Dank an Marea für das individuelle Gastgeschenk!

Die Unterkunft war sehr komfortabel und großzügig geschnitten – viel Platz und hohe Decken sorgten für ein angenehmes Wohngefühl. Trotz Fenster nur an der vorderen Front war es überraschend hell. Die tägliche Reinigung und das bereitgestellte Wasser im Zimmer waren ein schöner Service. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die tolle Lage nahe der Altstadt – zentral und dennoch ruhig. Die Gastgeberin war ausgesprochen freundlich und hat uns sogar mit einem kleinen Gastgeschenk überrascht. Restaurants gibt es in der Umgebung reichlich, für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Parken war etwas tricky, aber ein kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz ist in der Nähe vorhanden. Frühstück wurde angeboten, gegen Saisonende jedoch nicht mehr – Alternativen gibt es aber genug in der Umgebung. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit Wohlfühlfaktor!

Beautifully newly renovated boutique hotel, so central to everything but still quiet! Would absolutely recommend this hotel. The hostess was lovely and informative. An overall fantastic stay in Rethymnon

"Excellent location, arrive early if by car"

The location was great but still quiet. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby. Hotel level accommodation with excellent bathroom, including toiletries and bathrobes and slippers so despite mentioned challenges ok. I did not personally meet the host so no rating included for them. Arrival info was good (but all info could warn about parking).

Finding parking space at dinner time is a nightmare, even at the end of the tourist season. First time in the city, and not enough pre-study. But could be mentioned. I wished the complimentary wine bottle mentioned in the extras had actually been there after finally finding a parking space about a mile from the location and orienteering through the small streets to make the distance that short 😅. The trend of not having drawers or any hangers is not my personal preference, and the travel companion missed the character of trip's other accommodations.

"We loved it"

No breakfast. Not a problem. Had facilities to eat in. Lefter is was there waiting. An extremely pleasant gentleman. Took cases up for us and explained all. Contact numbers etc.
