1 Bed Cabin - Sleeps 2 - Pets - Garden - Parking

We liked the location, parking and comfortable bed with nice soft bedding. Good shower and toiletries. Owner pleasant and helpful.

The lack of any facilities for any kind of basic catering. Nowhere to wash dishes, only outside. The sofa was very low and uncomfortable and smelt of dogs. The TV was difficult to work. The door key needed attention, very tricky to lock. I don't know how you could use the toaster.

Belated review but my husband and I had a wonderful stay here with our working cocker spaniel. Superb location across from the beach and the cabin had everything we could ask for; including complimentary Prosecco & beers, Nespresso coffee, my favourite Aesop toiletries and bed plus treats for our puppy! The owner!! I was anxious on arrival as the code to get in the property hadn’t arrived as stated so I had to ring the house bell to ask for the code, I was made to feel it was an inconvenience!! Owner apologised and stated she had a bad week, her whole family were there so things were chaos!! I totally understood feeling she needed the time with her family. Therefore remain unseen as much as poss.. unfortunately the door to the chalet didn’t lock, so I thought the gate locks so it’s not a problem!! Then the outside sink to fill the kettle wouldn’t turn on so I had to ask where to turn it on. Once discovered I turned it on and water poured out from under sink everywhere so I had to tell her!! Neighbour came round and fixed the issue. Then I carefully drew the chalet curtains to get changed the curtain pole fell down!! I put the pole back up several times during my stay, feeling I didn’t want to interrupt the owners family time!! Then I showered the conditioner bottle was empty so I asked if I could have some, I received do you need it today? Once again I thought it wasn’t urgent I could do without it!!! Then I went out, the flimsy gate wouldn’t close, it was windy which isn’t anyone’s fault but not wanting to inconvenience the landlady I hoped she would see it and know of a way to close it. As I was leaving the gate open to a chalet I couldn’t lock!!. When I returned owner was outside and I asked about the gate and she mentioned it didn’t lock in the wind!! I didn’t press the issue any further because I sensed I was appearing to be a moaner, negative. I had stayed at another bungalow in Hayling the year before and had no problems at all. For me this was the first time I had to say, this doesn’t work, this is empty and so on!! However I was getting more frustrated with the issues during the stay feeling the place was not acceptable, up to par, the owner was charging top money for a place that needed the basics sorting and shouldn’t be letting it as it is!!.

The cabin was beautifully decorated, in a great location and well looked after. The complimentary drinks and snacks were a lovely addition. Really comfortable with everything you could ask for a relaxing break.

Excellent communication before arrival. Knew exactly what we needed for access. Lots of extras in the fridge to welcome us. Good location for pubs, shopping and beach front. Had everything we needed for a short stay.
